We are hit with so many ideas for living healthy. One day we are told to eliminate fat, the next day all the “news” is about healthy fats.  A common focus is sugar, especially high fructose corn syrup (HCFS).

So why pick on HFCS? Turns out, not only is it easier (read as less expensive) for manufacturers to use, it is easier for our bodies to use as well. And that isn’t a good thing. High fructose corn syrup converts to fat 18.9 percent faster than glucose.

The second problem with HFCS is that it is in a LOT of processed foods. In fact, currently it is found in 75 percent of packaged food and drinks!

But there is good news. If you cut down your sugar intake, your body will show results quickly! People who simply cut out HCFS became healthier without dieting or counting calories, showing results in 2 weeks. That’s great news!
